if somone plays patch 1.8 or whateva and i play whateva patch we play on..... do we play togethor?

cause i have a friend who aliases as |IMG|Fallen and he says he plays on 1.8 and that xS are a clan on that version too

is there a different xS clan for each version or do we all just play togethor or something

also some IMG guy said he has seen Fallen so i just dunno lol
